Chris Vesty - Piano Technician - East of England

I'm a piano technician based near Bury St Edmunds, covering Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.

I’m passionate about getting the most out of every piano I work on, ensuring that the touch, tone and soul of each instrument sings out. I work with many manufacturers and retailers, who can rely on me to make sure each piano is performing at the highest level.

I studied piano tuning and restoration in Newark-on-Trent, and completed several courses whilst working with C. Bechstein at their manufactory in Seifhennersdorf, Germany.

Further training with Kawai and Yamaha at their UK headquarters means that I’m one of the few technicians who can confidently service Yamaha Silent, Hybrid and Transacoustic systems, Kawai ATX and Aures, as well as servicing and installing Bechstein Vario, AdSilent, and Kioshi systems.

Rather than focusing purely on tuning, I take a holistic approach to piano maintenance, taking into account the needs of the pianist when tuning, regulating, voicing, repairing and cleaning a piano.
